I put Fire Stone HT truck tires on why because I feel the qualities is better on their truck tires than a trailer . tire pressure monitoring system that does heat and pressure . Next, how fast are you towing? And my personal thoughts on turning radius, do not turn any sharper than you have to. It’s hard on the sidewall to these tires. You will be surprised if you put a system on your trailer what you see you can even see how it is loaded per tire on pressure and heat. I have a 48 foot trailer approximately 15,000 pounds loaded. I feel truck tires are better than Trailer tires even though They’re not rated the same as a trailer tire

Tire pressure monitors are a very good idea for trailers and now they have them that are supposed to pick up 6 tires on long trailers. And they are not that expensive. I have not done it yet but will.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I've had good luck with Advanta AV3200 14-ply tires on my 53' trailer. Roughly $200 each.

The first few sets were HT truck tires, but they would get some odd uneven 'scalloping' wear on the inside edges, especially on the rear axle. My 3400# Nova sits entirely behind the axles, so there's some good load hanging back there.

16" LT tires fixed it for me. I got the wheels off EBay - some kind of take off's and Firestone LT tires locally.

Adding a much stiffer tire over axle rated ( load rating) creates a stiff ride and starts tire rebound on rough roads. We’ve added shocks to stop that in the past. Really helps. Commercial officers first look is tire rating…
