| Tire pressure monitors are a very good idea for trailers and now they have them that are supposed to pick up 6 tires on long trailers. And they are not that expensive. | I've had good luck with Advanta AV3200 14-ply tires on my 53' trailer. Roughly $200 each. The first few sets were HT truck tires, but they would get some odd uneven 'scalloping' wear on the inside edges, especially on the rear axle. My 3400# Nova sits entirely behind the axles, so there's some good load hanging back there.

| Adding a much stiffer tire over axle rated ( load rating) creates a stiff ride and starts tire rebound on rough roads. We’ve added shocks to stop that in the past. Really helps. Commercial officers first look is tire rating…
