I have used both the 9 inch and 9.5 gears and broken the pinion with both. To fit the 9.5 gear I had to grind clearance in the Fab 9 housing to fit the gear in

Once you've used a lube locker gasket you'll never go back. Not a dab of silicone, not a drop of gear oil. 9.5" gears fit Moser Housing no problem.

I have a lube locker gasket on the bench, but it is so thick. How does it affect installing and removing the axles?
