Looking for recommendations on suppliers.

MW $$$
PST?
FAST SHAFTS?

I think a lot of places sell driveshafts they just outsource so want to make sure I get a quality balance.

Diameter <1000hp [850) 3.25 or just get the 3.75

I went wit a 4" aluminum from Inland Empire here in California. I didn't see any reason to do carbon fiber. They do all kinds are are fairly reasonable.

Would you mind elaborating on why they sent you to PST?

While I can't help with your needs, I'm curious about the differences in the carbon fiber driveshaft, its durability and expected lifespan. Speaking with a track official at my local track today, he told me about a test and tune session last night, where a carbon fiber driveshaft disintegrated during a burnout. Huge ploom of CF dust and particles all over the burnout box. Said it wasn't as bad to clean up as expected, but none of the CF dust got into the track where it had been prepped/glued either. Said he'd expect it to have been a serious mess to get out of the glue. I'm curious if this one had damage that went unnoticed before this attempted run.
