Fern, Floyd, Happy Birthdays to ya both. Next round of drinks on me... I forgot to mention earlier, We also sold the house we moved out of last year. Have a little breathing room in my wallet now, so the wheels are turning on upgrading the race car next offseason. William Kilduff 1970 Barracuda 1968 Camaro X2 1968 Caprice 1964 F100

I'm loaded up and ready to head to CPD tomorrow morning. CCRA race Saturday/Sunday. Private test-n-tune session tomorrow with a handfull of racers that I get to join in. Hopefully I'll confirm that I did ok setting up the clutch this time around, or maybe I'll learn from another mistake... LOL. I'm only entering the Saturday race. Our granddaughter is on stage at church Sunday for her "baby/child dedication", along with a handfull of other kids. Can't miss that. Spent time under the dash of the race car this afternoon, replacing the $300 switch panel. Plastic switch for the lights broke off a few days ago. Just about gotta be a contortionist for this. Next time I'll pull one or both seats, and shifter, so I can get comfy. Wish it woulda happened before I put the transmission back in. Coulda sat in the tranny tunnel and not break a sweat or get lightheaded from being upside down. Fern, good luck this weekend. Don't worry about the heat,,, yet. Still a couple months to go before it gets bad around here. William Kilduff 1970 Barracuda 1968 Camaro X2 1968 Caprice 1964 F100

Just got home, fed myself and had some fun with the granddaughter. Great race weekend. I'll put details on Brian's racin thread. All in all, had a great weekend with the CCRA crew. I can't make tomorrows race, due to Granddaughter duties. She's on stage at church tomorrow morning for baby/child dedications and I ain't missing that. As far as my racing skills, I still suck, but getting better. Car is great, but has a bug that I need to chase. Doesn't affect 1/8 mile racing, but does affect 1/4 mile. Fern, hope you took the competition to school at the Farm today. I'm really bummed that I missed the Gear Jammers at CPD and now Farmington. I need to look over their schedule again, but I don't believe there's any more conflicting race dates, so I'm optimistic I'll get to run with them at some point. Hope all the rest of y'all are doing well and getting quality time doing what y'all enjoy doing out there.... William Kilduff 1970 Barracuda 1968 Camaro X2 1968 Caprice 1964 F100

Well I just got home also and it was mostly good except for losing 4th round. I am .024 and he is .004. I run dead on, I think .006, and he gets me .009 at the stripe! Now the good part, I made 6 wide open passes and the car ran the same number every time, slower than I expected but the same. They had a good crowd of racers and spectators. Everyone stay safe.

Another 5 days with no action. We got the Fling here at Galot, Darana, or whatever its called this week. Locals doing well with Wesley Roberts taking one win. Was good to see Niki Thomas get the runner up in the $40k race. I made a 500 mi run up and back to Baltimore Tuesday, Business! So far this week life is good, you all carry on.

Good Morning DRR, and I mean that sincerely. To all the Racers I've met over the past 65+ years I want to thank you for the journey. To all the DRR members I've had the pleasure of having discussions with, thank you for the connection. I realize I can be somewhat Political at times so thank you for your patience, I really do love America. And most of all: To Scott, Nicole and everyone at DRR, thank you for a place to connect with other racers that are as passionate about this sport as I am. Bob

Morning everybody from Alaska! Today looks to be sunny and warmer, a big change from the dreary rain we've been having. Still snow up north but hey, when you're part of the arctic circle, what do you expect???? The new car is 98% finished!!! Couple small things to wrap up, but they won't take long. It's been a lot more work than I thought it would be, but it's there! Can't wait to race it! Happy Saturday... Got my 1st trophy with this ole hotrod today. Not the one I'm looking for, but hardware nonetheless... Won best in class for Special Interest at the car show today. Pretty surprising, given the lack of time I had to do the cleaning routine, but I ain't gonna complain. I guess enough folks appreciated it out there and whoever judged my class felt it's worthy... Hopefully some racin hardware will come soon as well. Mark, glad to hear you're getting close with your car. Hope all y'all have a great weekend.
