It will definitely be a change, but I think it will be worth it, I can't afford to retire in california. I have a friend who moved to Tennessee a couple years ago and they like it,I'm going to take a trip there in a few months to look at properties, and all the drag strips are a plus, also that will put me that much closer to indy and can finally run the us nationals.

No one in California Politics is getting the message, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE to afford to live here. Eventually, as the population declines the few remaining will have to share an increasing amount of the tax burden. The Democratic Legislature is trying to abolish Proposition 13, the Tax increase will be far greater than your house payment.

My next door neighbor currently pays more than $1,200 a month in property tax, his Home Owners Insurance adds another $700, (and that's about to skyrocket due to us being in a fire zone) his mortgage is $3600.

These are about to be "The Good Old days" when it only took $5,500 to just make the monthly house payment with his $2,400 Social Security check. Our neighborhood is riddled with "Home For Sale" signs, and we live in the country, not in San Diego or, God forbid along the coast.

If "In N Out" moves from California to Tennessee there is a GIGANTIC MESSAGE! If they can't make it here, no one can.

Crime and Taxes (This is a Sanctuary State) have ruined California.

California maybe a swing state in 4 years if trump can get things turned around in time. That not say the things in Sacramento will improve.

As of this month SS recipients will get a 2.5% increase as a COLA adjustment. I'm sure that will put him over the hump keeping up with inflation.

Don't worry, the Medicare premiums went up to negate that.

The only draw back was the depth of the garage and the length of the dragster 280 inches. A plus is that it's closer to a major airport but (-) doesn't have a tornado shelter.

This will be resolved very soon and he'll be headed East with no intention of ever going back to the left coast. I believe he'll like living in rural Ky.

Bremen is at the top of list list but that house has to undergo an inspection and a property assessment so it could still fall out.

My Family has property in Hodgenville. I need to go visit and look at options. Are the taxes like Ca? It’s a blue state?

Barry, Kentucky is a substantially less expense State to live in with one exception, you are going to spend a lot more time and money racing. They have dozens of tracks. The problem is where you go each weekend. Phil Oakley sponsors a Quick 16 Series making the decision a lot easier.

I believe Kentucky is a Red State but the Governor is a Democrat. At least he's not a narcissistic total flaming anti- American nut case like Gavin Newsome.
