Glad to hear that they are going to at least try to bring most of the old IHRA classes back. I am interested to see what the entry fees and payouts will be for each class.

There you go Nimbo, at your local track!

We will get our popcorn & be on the edge of our seats waiting.

Bryan, Ed's never going to tow down to Texas to race. It's too close to the west coast.

What do we think the crowd will be stronger in? Could bring my dragster and run Quick rod or my door car in one of the slower indexes. Is there a weight min in Hot Rod like there is for SST?

It doesn't seem like you're very prepared to race the Hot Rod Classic this weekend!

IHRA has an online rulebook, I would start there for a minimum weight requirement. As for racing Quick Rod or a slower index with your door car. Put on your big boy pants & make a decision. Wink

Nah, I'll run whatever feels good. I wanted to enter whichever needed car count.

I tried to watch some of this on the live stream and it didn't look like they had a good car count. I guess the weather forecast had a lot to do with that.

I was really hoping for a great turnout for this event. I would really like to see IHRA return to class racing again.

No bueno, decided not to go watch it rain, it was a good call. I still messaged and bought a membership as if I'd gone to show my support. Just couldn't see making the drive to sit in the rain. Seems like that was the right call. I hate the car count was so weak, I really wish they'd canceled it and rescheduled for a better turn out. Did they split up the purses or just give money back given they never made an elimination round?
