undacuva67GREAT guy, friend and racer. Godley built trans for some of the best super class and really fast door car racers for many years. if you had a green trans you had good stuff.

Mike RietowRIP R. Godley
First time I called Godley, he says call me back when you know the correct names for the parts.
Mike his assistant, calls me back whispering give me your address I'm gonna send you something LoL!
Did a lot of business with Richard the old school way - honor system!
Richard bought a brand new white Duramax identical to mine in 2008 after checking mine out, when he was there to pickup 20 stock VB's I brought with me to SGMP, for Richard.
Great Man!! RIP

Ed SwearingenRichard was a good man! Back in the early 80's I took one of his transmissions back to be freshened and got chewed out for painting over the green with red and beige paint from a couple of rattle cans of left-over paint. I thought it would be cool to make the trans match my car. He took exception to that! He will surely be missed.
