me & my dad (he races I'm just crew lol) are planning to go to Bristol for the fling. was trying to plan the best route. I've already looked it up. we will be taking I40 (from outside Raleigh area) I think most of the roads are fine until you get into the mountains. did not know how (I'm assuming) I74/I77/I81 are with flooding & everything. it also tells me to get off I81 before you actually get to Bristol. it looks like that route are two lane roads so was not sure with driving a big motorhome trailer

The easiest way to the track is to stay on I-81 south and take exit 69 which is about 5 miles after you cross the TN/VA state line. Turn left on hwy 394 and its 4 lane all the way to the track.

You are correct except I don't know about the new I-74 by pass after Greensboro as I always get on it north of Asheboro which takes me to 52 at Winston. You can hit 74 west of Greensboro and miss Winston altogether. There are 2 different I-74s. No flooding and the above info is correct, exit 69. Cheap fuel at a BP right after you get on 394. Safe travels.

Go up I-77 to I81 then south on I-81 to exit 69 Hwy 394 takes you right to the track entrance after you pass under US 11E.

No flooding problems on this route. No problem with big motorhome or tractor trailer.
After you get off of I-81 that road will have all you need including a grocery store if you need supplies before getting to the track.
