My wife and I were discussing the problems Education will face in these areas. I'm hoping the schools had adequate insurance to rebuild. Now the dilemna will be "who" will they be educating. As stated before, without insurance I predict many will not rebuild and move on. To that end, how will property taxes be determined to satisfy bonds passed for school improvements. Not enough space in this article to discuss how much this fire will affect not just LA, but the whole state.

If any of the SoCal Racers have been effected by the fires my wife and I are willing to help in any way we can. I'm not on Facebook, but John Sapone, Barry Poole and Larry Scarth know how to contact me.

Well....they elected them and they will continue to elect them over and over again. Because the Hollywood "A" Listers who's properties were spared will black ball them if they don't stay in line!

Now the Fed can extend its brilliance and rapid response as it has in NC. Some canvas tents and single wides should fix it right up. Of course all will have to safety inspected to make sure no carcinogens are involved.

As of 6 a.m. this morning. Winds are picking up and 3 new fires have appeared. We need rain but nothing in the near future.

Elections have consequences. Unfortunate the innocent suffer with guilty. Bad tbhings happen its just life. Bad preperation is direct result of losuy leadership of those who have job to have prepared.

Guess I am sorry POS in some folks mind for this. I do find some irony in facrs like BLM woman having 3 huge homes and nopw only one. Those who mocked god now praying for help. The fact taht mostly democrat voters now need help after democratic folks in FEMA avoiding homes with Trump flag in FLA and NC.

I truely feel those who have lost everything in life because oif incompenency of others. Just hard to feel bad for those who repeatedly put those people in position they are in.

It's about to get a lot worse.

Real Estate and Insurance Executives are saying that 70% of the properties lost in the fires were under Insured. Many of the Owners won't be able to afford rebuilding especially with the increase in building materials, (New Build) ADA code compliance regulations and the increase in Insurance Policies. That's what happened in San Diego County after the Which Creek Fire in 2007.

Some of these expensive communities could be semi-ghost towns for quite some time. Full Insurance coverage could be nearly impossible to afford in some areas. Insurance Companies are currently predicted to lose between $300,000,000,000 ($300 billion) to $500,000,000,000 ($500 billion). That number increases every day.

I predict a lot of LA Home, and Property Owners will be leaving California and those of us staying will be paying a lot more for our Home Owners Policy.

Is where most of the fires were just happen to be where they were wanting to put some big State Government project?

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Yes it is..
As big as these companies are, ya gotta think they have weather experts/gurus who know what’s coming a month ahead. They take your money all these years and you never have a claim. Now you need them…. Billions made! Will they make it right?
