Back in the day, a standard for rational conduct was set, regarding these matters.

They should have let them sit there and idle and idle and idle!!!! Sooner or later one would move in!!! or run out of fuel!!

I guess these guys don't pay attention to bracket racing and what happens to racers who refuse to stage first!!!!! Now that's what I'd like to see!!!! Show em Johnny!Big Grin

The people in the stands paid to see the race (order).

They didn't pay to see the starter get his feelings hurt when neither driver paid any attention to his gestures to get in.

The starters ego got the best of him, and the fans paid for it (disorder).

That's disorder.

Common sense.

The Chef runs the kitchen not the cooks. Don't pizz off the starter and there is T.V. time and $$$ at stake as well. Bet they won't do that again! I'm sure there sponsor's will see to that.

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

Dumbfuk, did the people in the stands pay to see the race?

Or did the people in the stands pay to see the starters ego, get the best of him? Confused

The people in the stands and at home watching on TV, lost.

That is disorder, not order.

Common sense.

Don't start on the starter's ego!

He has input by radio from the National Event Race Director from the tower!

Most of you don't know anything about Brad... I do! CHILL!

Again learn how to read a rule book. And if you are to stupid to understand it have someone read it and explain it to you. I watched the entire race and I don’t give two sh1ts about a burn down. Big deal neither idiot wants to race so load your crap up and let those that do stage and race.

Here's what order looks like

The starters self importance didn't get the best of him, and the people in the stands got their money's worth.

Order

Same rule book applied

Both drivers apparently thought they would just be sent to the back of the line and then try again...The term "**** around and find out" seems pretty apt.

As a fan, I don't pay to see two knuckleheads sit there idling and refusing to stage. It's beyond stupid. I think a DQ for both was a great call. Would only have been better if there were two non-qualifiers they could have put back in the race in their places.

What the starter did was emotional, instead of rational.

His mindset was, you wanna test my authority, power by ignoring my gestures to get in.

That's emotional, not rational.

Buster didn't take that approach did he? Nope. Ya know why, because he's rational enough to realize the people in the stands came to see the race.

Not the starter display his power.

That's disorder.

Anyone who supports racers being DQ'd before the race even starts, is just telling us what they'd do if they're power was tested.

That's all this is, what would you do if you were the starter.

I'd do what Buster did for order.

I don't know why they were DQed. It's not like they hit a cone or something. LOL

Not only were they allowed to race, they were INSTRUCTED to race by the official starter. The drivers chose to not race.

The cone blew off the track by the draft behind the car.

45 minutes later, disregard what actually happened and the original call, there was a tire track leading to the front side of the finish line block. LoL!

Laughing Hard

Personally I think burn downs are stupid. If you want to play that game then do it and it takes two to make it happen. Both are to blame when it happens.
Th DQ for not doing as directed by starter seems pretty straight forward.
