In the past they have shown Pat Dakins top fuel car with Trump- Pence 2020 all the way down the side. I bet Bo will get a full shot on the 1 hour pro mod show.

Lots of big name racers lobbying in Bo’s behalf I’m reading. I’m impressed!

What I find troublesome is the fact the NHRA is now picking and choosing what sponsors they want to show. Those sponsors don't care about the couple thousand people in the stands to see their banners on race cars. They care about the tens of thousands that will potentially see them on tv. NHRA robbed them of that! This will not go unnoticed by other future sponsors in my opinion. Getting funding for race teams just got harder.

That’s an interesting point for sure. You already can’t be sponsored by competitors to NHRA’s sponsors. Now you get a sponsor but they refuse to show it on TV? I don’t know. At the same time I’d rather they just didn’t involve politics at all but that seems really hard in the current climate. I think NHRA is struggling and they just don’t want to make anyone that was thinking about spending money close their wallet by seeing the trump sign.

My assumption was Bo did it on his own with no official connection to/money from the Trump campaign but I don’t know.

Actually, according to Randi Lyn Shipp, this was a paid sponsorship. I don't know the facts of that for sure, but I'm assuming she does.

How about making a decision not to support the NHRA? Their ways of conducting business creates the realization that "WE" have the choice...

The NHRA simply have nothing left to offer the racers and want to curtail what we see, do and think on top of that.

Butner has my support as does TRUMP! NHRA...well, they seem to run off more supporters than attracting more...JMO.

"Their ways" are the ways of the ivy league colleges. Why do so many large corporations support what the little man rejects? The liberals have infiltrated the ivy league schools just like all other colleges for a couple of generations at least. They are entitled and they are empowered. Just look at what the Bush's did to America. It's time to take a stand.

Each party pays for TV ads.. Anyone can run Biden decals.. NHRA has a Fox show so why try to be Neutral? I’ll be really disappointed if the magazine does not show his car. And yes I believe they should air it too!

Total support here!

Butner wasn’t put in jail for it, just as the Constitution states.

Maybe I need to read the NHRA.tv section of the Constitution a little closer.

No disrespect but maybe you missed the point which was Butner's right of free speech was censured by the NHRA...they have no right to do so which is the point of free speech under the first amendment, sir...

There are no first amendment rights guaranteeing coverage of a drag race. Lol!

The constitution is meant to protect the citizen from the government. It does not apply to private business. In private business you have the choice to participate or walk away, spend your money with a particular organization or spend your money elsewhere. People would do well to recognize this going forward. Big corporation are going to demand more and more of the general public, like demanding you wear a mask. If you willingly kowtow, and don't spend your money elsewhere, you will reap what you sow, and more.

NHRA has been enforcing this for years. I can't tell you who or what it was but it was at Pomona in the late 80's early 90's and a bunch of sportsman racers were reprimanded for the decals they had on cars in somewhat of a campaign / protest.

Maybe someone else remembers what it was?

Bob?
Larry?
Mac?
Mike?
Blodgett?

Watching the US Nationals today I see the greater majority of cars are sporting TRUMP PENCE support stickers.
Seems like a lot of the racers are saying FU to the never happy racers ASSociation.
