If I were going to replace that bushing I would make it from oil-impregnated bronze or Delrin plastic. I wouldn't use aluminum just because of the gauling possibility or it flaking into the rack. ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner | |||

I would be interested in buying a pair of these. Can you get Bronze? Or does anyone know where I can find direct bolt on replacement rack and pinion like pictured 32" wide? https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. Curly, I made one out of aluminum back in March, and it worked perfectly. There's no possibility of galling, as there is no velocity or friction. The stock one is greased, so that's what I did. I will make you one if you wish. I don't do stuff for money, just like solving problems. RIP It's a dangerous time in America. The communists are inside the gates.
