Finally broke down and put antifreeze in the race car last week. Still haven't had any snow yet which is a bit unusual. Supposed to be pretty cold the next couple of days. Texas and Oklahoma are getting hammered with the cold. Dallas will be colder than we are the next couple of days.

Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right. Here I am.......

Snowed all night in Nashville. Got about 7" now and not suppose to be over freezing all week. This will cause a major disruption to the supply chain!

You're right about that. My bar feeder for my new machine was supposed to get installed tomorrow but the tech emailed me and said he is backed up in Nebraska. Looks like it will be a few days delayed now. We have material that couldn't be delivered because of snow outside out building that would get the forklift stuck. 2 guys didn't make it in today. This stuff backs us all up.

about zero so far, Had a few flakes today. My birthday is at the end of the month and it has snowed most years near that. I guess god loves me and knows I need an excuse to play.

Well we woke up to smooth sheet ice here this morning. So far none of my guys have made it to the shop. One guy I don't expect him to even try. He rides a bicycle every day and has a prosthetic leg. A few years back he tried to make it in when there was patchy ice and fell breaking his femur. I had to go find him, lift him in my truck and drive him to the ER. Don't want that experience again for either of us.

My parking lot you could ice skate on right now with no problems. The treated main roads were slushy and it is still raining/misting at times. When the sun comes up I will get a better look at electric lines and tree limbs.

Many years ago I lived in Moore OK. Left that winter for Baltimore and a snow/ice storm was so bad they closed the turnpike toll booths but the road was open if you dared. I was driving a Corvette and when I stopped the doors were froze shut. Brutal weather out there.

Here its just cold--15 last night and 20 right now. COLD

It's in the high 50's this morning but we're having some very heavy rain. Not unusual this time of the year but it is warmer than normal. No snow here but we do have some in the mountains a couple miles east of here.

Just got the latest Crew Chief update from Don Higgins it's part of my getting ready for the 2024 season. This year will be a full season of Summit Series racing with perhaps one or two "High Dollar Events". I found an experienced person (with 7 Wally's) to drive my car this season so I'm preparing and excited to get going.

Hope all of you stay high, (not in the chemical sense), dry and warm this Winter.

Bob

We got 4 inches of rain today. For some that probably isn't much but for an area where the ground is as hard as rock, it doesn't saturate anything it floods. We got flooded, big time!

More expected tomorrow. Lots of front yard swimming pools in our neighborhood.

Looking at the snow gauge outside my front window, it shows that we've had exactly ZERO inches of snow here in my little corner of the desert of Southern California...and that number hasn't changed since about 1934, according to local history.
