1998 or 99,I know it was before I moved into my current house.

Had to rejoin because Danny shut down accounts unless your email was conectted to your provider. I had a hotmail account and got booted.

November 18, 2003 for me. I was checking out the place for about a year before I joined.

Have seen a lot of good people come and go over the 15 years that I have been hanging around here.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

First got a PC around 1998

Probably started looking at DRR back then.

Beau, Shooter, Bill Hoskinson, Transman, Ed, just to name a few from the old days that I can think of.

Some extremely funny stuff back then but eventually it turned not so funny....and I got tired of it.....don't care for that chit...

I had to refer to my bio, it said February 2003. Seems like just yesterday, guess not!

This is a great place to learn and express your thoughts, although not without some criticism at times. Over the years that acromony has died down a bit.

YUP - MB is correct. We had already looked into this, this past winter as we were pretty sure it was 98 or 99 when Danny started it. After further digging it looks like the site didn't go live until early 99 so we are calling 2019 20 YEARS!

I recall someone was passing around a flyer at the track asking people to join here and help out some poor guy that had a thread on here about how he lost everything and needed help to get back into racing. People were real sympathetic towards him until someone that knew him exposed him as a fraud, then the responses after that went on for weeks and were brutal (and very funny).

Dang you have to go forward 39 pages to get to my date of Aug '07.

Looks like we have gained almost 100 new members since the first of the year. I hope more and more join and post up.
