I was and am chasing et. I went from a 4.56 ratio for a 8.21 slr to a 4.86 and 8.75. I went .03-.04 quicker, but lost 4-5 mph. I'm also getting after the first half hard enough that I started shaking the tires with 1.06-1.07 60's. I'm dropping the ratio back to 4.33 this year and added a fogger.

This car looks bad to the bone on this lap and you can make it happen holding a bunch with the et varying a couple hundredths Super Pro racing, up until the point you meet up with a guy who can coast from anywhere he decides, and go .010-.015 total or better.

Personally my objective/approach is to be that guy. I gotta have something that prints slips. That being said, Bad to the bone is the lower value.

Muncie was always good to me when I went there. I went 1.02 60' on a Friday night more than a few times. I never ran a race there just Friday nights testing, starting line was always stellar but downtrack for me was not always so good. Never tried to make a full pull for a few reasons. But always enjoyed the place.

Your 4 link options are what they are. I would have to assume based on the tracks I ran in and around that area that you are suffering more from shake due to not enough wheelspeed. Tracks I ran they were always on point for me. I ran Quick stuff but as you know that's done on a normal bracket day. Also a 4.70 race or two.

The graph trace you put up looks decent for sure. Not sure what the numbers are though. Like to see the G meter as well, if you have one. Assume that is a "good" one. Like to see one from when you say its shaking.

As for crappy videos I have one from Muncie on a Friday. It is really bad but this was another 1.02 60' first hit off the trailer. its way to long as was cell video from a buddy who was there helping. Be forewarned Smile They were kind enough to help but were new to this for sure.

Muncie is a great group of people and one the better prepped tracks I run on. I probably go there 5 or 6 times per year.
I've had shake from both too little and too much wheel speed. The one that usually bites me is further down track and will go away after the touch up the track.

What ET and MPH you running before and after? My MPH didn't change with gear change from 4.56 to 4.86. I tried a 4.30 and it slowed ET about .1 and 1.5 MPH and was more inconsistent. I probably needed a converter change to work with that gear.

4 link adjustment is where it is. Putting some weight on the nose may help a little in consistency. I also think a 4.30 gear would work better but the convertor will need some tweaking as well. Just keep plugging at it. I got a new Prostock style truck that I am going to be testing and setting it up so we will be trying anything and everything on it as well.

I like the softer leave and higher MPH with the 4.56. Probably more consistent to.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

It is more consistent, but as I stated, I'm chasing et. I'll still race this car in T/S style races, but I'm transitioning to heads up stuff.
