Who has raced at Barona Dragway in Southern CA. lately. It has been 10+ years since I have & probably closer to 15 years since. I had a small trailer & truck back then. I seem to remember the pits were small & cramped. It seems with all these big rigs to hall race car(s) & mine is 62' long. That this place would be a cluster for parking, unless they improved the parking since I've been there.

I'm possibly looking to go race there on Nov. 7 & 8 for a Match Race Madness deal & it seems to be a quirky type of event. It might be another cluster in itself. I'm trying to do some more Index racing without throttle stops & delay boxes. These are the types of racing that have it.

I can put up with one cluster but two would get on my nerves pretty quickly. Trying to avoid too much BS.

Any feedback on the track parking or the race itself would be appreciated!

I didn't get it, I think something is screwy in the system.

I know there is 2 different ways up to the track...one is trailer friendly, one not so much...Pretty short shut-down but shouldn't be an issue for your 1/8 mile speeds....I had no trouble parking with my 18' trailer when I went...BUT if it's going to be a large turnout that may become an issue for you....Barona is Bobs home track so I would defiantly listen to his advice...But at least you.re still racing you bastage lol

Hello Dave,

Thanks for posting up!

I talked with Bob on the phone this afternoon. He gave me the inside scoop on everything & it's greatly appreciated. The plus is he's supposed to be out there that weekend also. It will be good to meet him.

As for you, wish you were racing! I miss shooting the shyt with you at the track. Yes, I'm still racing, but you left out the racing & winning part. This ProCharged combo is really starting to work really well & its mph is working to my advantage. Hopefully it continues to work for these last 3 events of the year.
