After running Hoosiers for more than 20 years we (Rob and me) are going back to a set of Mickey's. My 33-16/15 DO5's are used up, probably from age more than anything so we are switching brands to try something else. Rob placed the order yesterday from a friend in Texas.

Mine are holding air just fine. No problem.
Did not soap them or anything, bought them at Texas Motorplex from Goodyear / MT and they mounted them there.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

MY MT's hold air fine. Maybe beetter than any pair of slick have had. My issue is roll out. I have to drop right tire down to nothing and heat some to equalize if few eeeks since ran.

Nice thing about radials is they hold air & very little to no roll out differences.

I run M/T PRo Bracket Radials, the 31x13.5's. I'm only on my second set so far. I got my first pair at the same time as getting my RC Comp Retro single beadlocks. These were the first tires I have mounted and balanced myself in my life. Threw the first tire on a bubble balancer and it was exactly perfect with no weight. I thought I must've done something wrong! LOL The second one took 4oz.

Last year, when I mounted my second set, the driver's side once again required zero weight. Just for giggles, I left the weights on the passenger side, mounted the new tire, and sure enough, it balanced as-is.

I put 465 runs on the first set and never found the cords. Gave 'em to a buddy to try. Someday I may actually wear out a Pro Bracket Radial, but I haven't done it yet!

I just bought a set of MT 30771 and they do take a LOT of weight to balance on weld Alpha double bead lock wheel. Like 22oz but they are smooth as glass and work better than the Hoosiers I used to run on my heavy ass 1.2 60ft car. Last set had over 200 runs and no cords. 60fts are deadly. On the Hoosiers I ran for years I would destroy the sidewall and 60fts would go away.

Mounted the Mickey's with minimal balancing weight. Easy peasy, now comes one of my favorite things to do, (NOT) , installing 32 rim screws. If they weren't soooooo frickin' expensive I'd buy bead locks.
