| My suspicion is that they couldn't reschedule the awards banquet so they did this for the convenience of the NHRA. I heard one suggestion that they should have the banquet during PRI week in Indy.
I'm not in a bad mood, I just look that way.........

| From what I heard the Fairplex had this week booked with another event. Also I'm sure that the ballroom rental ain't cheap. On another note the loss of spectator income hurt as well but they didn't have to pay the Pro purse either. It was probably a wash, no pun intended!
