ATI Performance Products Fall Footbrake Frenzy XIII

SCHEDULE NOTES
Based on the current forecast, the temperature patterns look very similar to this past weekend, with very low dew points, which will help tremendously. Be prepared, as we will certainly have to utilize our reserved Sunday cleanup day, taking three days to complete both $20,000 Footbrake races in order to operate within the best weather window for you.

We'll be looking at late starts on Friday and Saturday (likely 11AM or later), and will not be running too deep into the night. The exact schedule will depend on car count, but expect to run the FRIDAY 20K Time Trial, Rnd 1, Re-Entry, and possibly Rnd 2 on Friday.
- SATURDAY, we would have a Saturday 20K New Entry Time Run, Saturday Rnd 1 & Re-Entry, then run Friday's race to completion.
- SUNDAY, we would finish off the Saturday 20K with Rnd 2 through the end, which would likely take around 5 hours, so everyone can still get on the road home at a decent hour. Schedule adjustments are possible, but this is the general plan.

Piedmont Dragway has done a great job with new lighting on the far side building, as well as LED lighting on the tree blinder!

The ATI Performance Products Fall Footbrake Frenzy XIII Friday 20K is in the books, with Garrett Howell grabbing his first Loose Rocker Eagle and Big Check, holding off veteran Ernie Humes in the finals. Jed Knarr and NHRA Pro Stock Rookie of the Year (and last year's runner-up) Dallas Glenn were the semifinalists.

Race #2 resumes on Sunday at 12:15PM with Round 2 action.

Brian Cireddu added a Loose Rocker Eagle trophy and 20K Big Check from the ATI Performance Products Fall Footbrake Frenzy XIII to his extensive resume, defeating an all-star cast whittled down from 317 entries, including Anthony Fetch in the finals, who fouled by just one thou. Rodney Lunsford and Bad Brad Plourd were the semifinalists.
