HolytownI don't want to see the bill for new tires LOL!

TD3550Example on a cost with a Super Single with an Alcoa aluminum rim if destroyed. And it happens a lot Only $1700.00 plus the service call. That's only one. The Slight MPG increase is not worth the price of the tires. That's why a lot went back to duels So you say you install 4 new SS drive tires.
Michelin as an example. $5000.00 for 4 tires.

I heard his next trailer will be even larger and it will require a steer axle at the back with a driver. Rolling through town like a ladder truck!

TORQINThis thing is smooth, straight, stable, and MORE brakes noticeable in the pedal with the additional axle having brakes too.
Scaled 15,100 on front axle, 37700 on rear axles of coach and 17, 200 on trailer axles. So far so good!

TORQINLoad range L, 315/80R/22.5 Yokohama super steel MY627W...10,000 lbs each max single
Max on front axle on door jamb of truck is 16,000 lbs max

not exciting...
The rear before was 40k lbs max for 2 axles (20k each) before third additional axle added. Making in 50K max in current configuration with 3 axles.

TD3550A 20 ply, good to go. Just checkin. lol. A real rock crusher there. Just curious, what did the steer scale at before the add on?
January 22, 2021, 09:06 PM
BuckyWhere does the weight come from in the front? Obviously engine, and probably water and fuel storage. Why so high with this unit though? Large capacity of fuel and water?
How is the ride going down the road even on rougher roads? I imagine with that amount of weight, wind isn't much of an issue?
