Super Comp at Boise. 9.15 index. London ran 9.16 at 197.67. Yikes

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

Ken Moses, is the fastest S/C car in division 1 with his dry sumped APD 9 degree engine. Matter of fact, 4 of the top 5 fastest S/C cars in Division 1 have APD engines, carbs and throttle stops. 2 are 9 degree engines both owned by Ken and the other 2 are 20 degree BRX headed.

175 - 176 isn't all that unusual in S/G these days, then you have guys winning at 112 mph and slower.

Try and imagine a 64 (plus) mph closing rate, WOW!

There might have been a guy double up in D5 SC and never ran faster than 129mph. His way to skin a cat.

I ran Steve Casner when he went 119 in S/C for the slowest normal setup I have seen work.

I also ran Mike Manners when this happened years ago. 218 miles per hour in Super Comp was the fastest I have ever seen. The crazy part was Mike was also running a Super Gas car at the same event that ran 9.90s at 205 mph....

That's fast for sure. Sometimes messing around with cruise RPM, time on the stop, and time in high gear can produce some more MPH I think those guys are just running big horsepower.

At this years G'ville D2 event ran an S/ST TT against some white Mustang that went 157 MPH. I'm pretty sure he was good for more. As I remember it was a D1 car.

I believe the fastest SST car in D1 is Keith Meyer’s Porsche

Plenty of fast S/St cars and seen more than one S/C car top 200. Out west 175 in S/G is pretty normal anymore.

One of the coolest S/ST cars I've ever seen. Unusual and I like that. being a low key guy myself.

While I was still using a linkage stop I managed a few 153 MPH licks in S/St but, not since I went to an under carb stop.

Killer Kleinweber went 175 mph in SST at 2013 AZ Nationals ..... and won the event! Winning is still the goal, right? Rumor has it that he tested on one day and went 10.90 @ 175, 9.90 @ 185 and 8.90 @ 195 back to back to back. But, in typical KK fashion, he was .045, .055, and .065 as well!

You can't bracket race a Super Gas car. You can't, you can't, you can't!
