I had seen the announcement that Camping World had extended their partnership earlier this morning, and just assumed it was extending the current level of sponsorship. Guess not!

Mission has been escalating their involvement the last couple years, which is great since I thought Camping World left a lot on the table as far as actual involvement. No "midway" presence at events, etc.

Camping World pulled their sponsorship out of NASCAR too. I believe they completely pulled out of NASCAR vs staying on as a marketing partner with NHRA.

Another NHRA announcement Camping World extended sponsorship to 2026. Now I am curious to know what that will be for.

There can only be one series title sponsor?

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I read that, smartass. I would like to understand the connection a little better. Why tf is a tortilla maker the title sponsor of a drag racing series. Energy/sports drinks was a bit of a stretch but I can see it, Camping World seemed pretty straight forward, but taco shells? idk man. I'm grateful for it though, don't get me wrong.

Sponsors from outside the racing ecosystem are the holy grail. There's much more money outside the sport than inside it. What did Winston or Mello Yello have to do with racing? It's a company looking to expand their brand familiarity.

I've run 8, 9 national events under the Camping World umbrella and never saw anything Camping World related outside of their logo plastered all over everything. The last event I ran had a big Mission display in the midway handing out little bags of chips shaped like racecars and motorcycles.

Yea Missions presence was evident at the Dallas national a couple of weeks ago. Now if they could only give away some salsa with those chips and partner with a beer company life would be great Big Grin

NHRA needs any sponsor they can get !

Camping World didn't do much from what I saw....

Mission has been putting up $$$ for a while for Pro Categories special races within a race....

I always thought it was strange that they never made more of an impact. Like I said, I'm glad to take their money, just seems a bit random to me. Either way, I'll be eating some tacos in the future I suppose.
