Loose Rocker has been a leader in big money bracket racing for nearly a decade. With your support, we have grown to levels we might not have imagined when we started, including an incredible turnout of 358 entries in November's ATI Fall Footbrake Frenzy. We've always set out to provide racers with the type of races that we would want to go to: fast-paced, great paying, and racer-friendly -- which includes being able to get the best deal right at the gate with our Weekend Entry Discount.

We know that big money racing is a big investment, and you need your money week to week, not tied up. With that in mind, Loose Rocker is announcing that the ATI BIGFOOT $40K's will follow the same Pay-at-the-Gate Weekend Entry Discount as all of our events. There will be NO PRE-ENTRY required! This will also allow racers to participate that cannot make all three days, or who would like to double on just a given day.

Without pre-entry, it is not possible to limit the field size. If we exceed what was previously a 400 car max on any given day, we will ADD around $7,000 to the purse, in the form of higher round money and Semi money! If we top 400 cars all three days, the total weekend purse would surpass a staggering $250,000!

Now anyone can be part of the Largest Footbrake Weekend Payout in HISTORY! Make your plans now to join us at Darlington Dragway, April 19-22, 2018!

Don’t forget, weekend entry tech cards from EVERY Loose Rocker event go into a year-end drawing for a decked-out 28′ Vintage Outlaw enclosed trailer, and other great prizes!

Darlington Dragway is a great location!
– 8.5 hrs from Maple Grove Raceway, PA
– 9 hrs from Kil-Kare Raceway, Xenia, OH
– 9 hrs from Holly Springs, MS
– 9 hrs from Bowling Green, KY
– 8.5 hrs from Palm Beach or Bradenton, FL

THANK YOU !!!

Its tough for someone in my shoes to sometimes commit to come to a race...I literally work 7 days a week sometimes (just like today)....sometimes work changes my schedule in a split of a second so traveling and being away for 3 or 4 days is sometimes just out of the question not to mention family with 2 in school and a 2 year old.........so AGAIN,,,THANKS to YOU GUYS !!!!!

The Thursday "Bracket Racer's Test n' Tune" will revolutionize the entire concept of a Test N' Tune just for Bracket Racers! Yeah, sometimes we just need to get a couple laps on a new combination, or need to sort out a gremlin, but otherwise just making test hits can seem boring. We get to practice the starting line all the time, but Loose Rocker is giving you the chance to practice the ENTIRE track in "race mode", including the all-important finish line!

It's still a test n' tune, so there's no "win or lose", but you get to put a Dial-In on the car every lap with a handicapped tree, just like a real race, so you can test your strategies and hone your skills. While there are no "eliminations", we will have prizes for the Best Package, Closest Margin-of-Victory, and more. It's the perfect warm up for FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!

A big thank you to Jimmy Bradshaw and the Darlington Dragway crew for allowing us to present this revolutionary program!

The crew at Darlington Dragway have been busting their tails. All new french drains have been installed, new drainage along the wall, a vapor barrier, and they began pouring concrete about 6am this morning. It will be a single pour of 863 feet of concrete from behind the burnout box to well past the 1/8th mile in each 20' wide lane, and then they will pour the 12' center, and the 4' sections on either side against the walls. The concrete work is being done by a top tier award-winning company that has done the likes of Motor Mile. Everything will be laser screed and checked for flatness. After Darlington, they will be doing Virginia Motorsports Park.

Additionally, they are going to be installing a window in the side of the tower and moving the staging lanes to behind the tower, so racers will enter the racing surface through the tunnel between the two towers. This will also improve parking and ingress to the lanes.

Our hats off to Russell Miller, Jimmy Bradshaw, and the whole crew for giving us the phenomenal racing surface our customers deserve!

Rebar set

The pour began about 6am

In five hours, the first lane is about halfway done.

My back hurts and need an Advil just looking at these pictures! It's not easy work and hard to find 20/30 year olds to do that type of work.

Hope to see you @ VMP and hope the 40K's are a success.

Cool

Darlington Dragway's Jimmy Bradshaw posted the other day...

quote:
I’ve had some people asking how the Darlington track surface is coming along and if we need to grind it for flatness. This is a text from the surface profiling guy. I think we’re good to go. In a few weeks it’s gonna be game time!!

I was at Darlington yesterday for their first race on the new track surface. The track has teeth--never saw so many cars dragging the back bumper and due to the good air everyone seemed to be fast. Lots of cars and the program ran slow. I left at 6:30 and they were about 1/2 way threw first round. But it was the first day, it was cold, and they had a lot of cars.

Hey Fern hope all is well
We were and still are celebrating Emily’s “Sweet 16” Birthday this weekend or we would have been there. I heard the place was packed. Open time runs from 11-12 and 2 time runs for multiple classes I’m sure made for a long day with a packed house. Glad to hear the great support from racers attending the opening event at Darlington and we can’t wait to get there next month! Thanks to the Miller family and Bradshaw family for all their hardwork as well as the rest of the team that make things happen.

Man---your 2 kids have sure grown up. Tell her happy birthday from Fern.....I don't know how many cars they had but it was a bunch. I'll bet a bunch of them are changing their set up the way the track was hooking. Pretty awesome seeing all those wheel stands.
