I agree with much of that, I know many on the streets like it. No alarm clock, no work, no schedule and not much stress. For us to have nice things we have to get up and go work for it. Some would rather sit on their tail and ask for money. And we are growing that sector of society. And we are importing them from all over the World. That is a no win situation because the working man will have to pay more taxes to support them.

Mitt Romney got flamed for telling the truth, that at that time, 47% of the electorate don't pay any taxes.

The wagon is overloaded with riders, the horses ain't gonna take it much longer.

When I need something done by a professional, it's almost impossible to get someone to show up, and most of the ones that do are guys my age.

Case in point, in 2016 we moved into a home with acreage, and I needed some minor fencing work done.....I DO NOT touch anything to do with post holes, I refuse, so I tell my wife "I'm too old for this, I'm gonna call someone".....
After 4 tries I finally got a fella to show up....
He's 80 fkn years old , and got r dun. He did bring a helper grandson.

Made me feel pretty lame.

I was no longer too old, it was just that he wanted $285 more than I did.

Democrats want to create a society that is totally dependent on Government so they will continue to vote for those who give them the free stuff.

Democrats are very pro government now. The government has a life of its own now and wants to self preserve, and grow. Who is the largest employer in the US? The federal government of course. Even if you don't count the military in that number. An enormous portion of our population gets money from the fed. During covid, it was nearly everyone.

All I want to depend on the federal government for is military protection. Period.

I wouldn't want to even depend on them for that. Just look at the invasion at our southern border. NG getting over run and nothing they can do about it. Why? Because the ROE is basically step aside, no ammo in their magazines and even if there is they are not allowed to protect themselves with it.
What did our government do with them. Took them in and they will be turned loose in country.
Can't even ship them back as their own government doesn't want them.
