You people think it's all about YOU, but it's not. When some idiot gets maimed or killed and the family sues, or the insurance companies pay out (and they will), it affects ALL RACERS in the cost and availability of racing facilities.

By y'all's logic, there is no need to license airline pilots either. Roll Eyes

Same deal with Cage Certs based on MPH. 135 MPH means you need a cert, but 6.49 needs cert if you only go 1/8 mile so they can get their money. Why is the cage only good for 100 mph in the 1/8 when its ok for up to 134 in 1/4?

BUT, if you're driving a Tesla going 8.90's - 9.0's at 150 MPH, you only have to wear a helmet. Roll Eyes

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Y’all need to be *****in at the promoters and track owners….they see it going on right in front of their eyes…..an say nothing…

People can say what they want, but we all know if promotors or track owners tried to strictly enforce SFI specs, the sport is dead.

.....OR just let track owners do what they want, and if they get sued its on them????

Then bracket should die and we will do this where no safety equipment is needed, just pay and race for the $

No but it must be true, we read it in on an Internet forum. Meanwhile they have over 1000 members after just launching last month and have had numerous money races including $1,000 to win.
