If I buy guns, which I never do because guns are bad and do bad things to people all by themselves, I use cash.....when I can....same for ammo....but I never buy it because it's bad too and does bad things on it's own...

Ca$h is ALWAYS King.
No matter what the purchase.
I only use a card for online / phone purchases.
I do use gift cards, purchased with ca$h at Kroger, for stuff like Home Depot and Hulu.
I like those Kroger points.

Folks, if we don't continue to insist on using ca$h, it will be gone, along with the rest of our theoretical freedom.
Guns?? I thought those only exist in Hollyweird?

I'm a CASH guy, but if they need a card; I use my debit card! No credit cards or loans for this family. Took this approach about 25 years ago, best decision I ever made!

I’m a firm believer in cash. I do have ONE credit card for “just in case” situations though…

We keep limited amount of $ in our checking account not over 10K. We do have safeties set-up with our debit card.

Our last big $ expenditure was done with a cashier's check.

I have a pile of cash back CC’s and almost never use cash for purchases. Not against using cash if the situation is best for me. At the track I’ll write an entry check and cash or CC for re-entry rds depending the event.

I use cash as often as possible. Easier to know where I stand with spending money and doesn't add jack up the plastic bill. When I do use a card, I rarely use debit. prefer credit over it. Have learned through other peoples experience, it's easier to reverse a charge on a credit card purchase vs a debit card purchase, in the event a fraudulent purchase is made. Has happened to my wife before. The credit card was immediately resolved, while the debit charge was a long drawn out process. Have heard of others getting screwed out of their money on a fraudulent debit purchase.

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

It would not appear so.....However, just yesterday I was chasing a runaway gun down the street because it broke out of the owner's safe and was going to hurt someone. I managed to stop it, unload it, and put it back on safe! He was a quick little sucker too, never knew guns could run that fast by themselves!!! Laughing Hard
