TF will make a billionaire a millionaire quickly!

The biggest rumor has him starting a team with Leah In TF and Matt Hagen in FC. If this is true and also Antron becoming an owner it looks to me like Don Schumacher is getting out of the car owning biz. Ron Capps is the only DSR car left. All the cars will run under the DSR umbrella with the Don just collecting a check. Makes good bussiness sense to me. get out of the risk of team ownership and continue with his DSR parts biz building cars, blocks, heads and all the other parts needed to run a fuel car. Again sit back and collect the checks without all the risk.

IMO Tony Stewart would be a great NHRA President. He actually has balls!

But in reality team owner is most likely scenario. I would have to think that as expensive as TF and FC are, they are probably a drop in the bucket compared to running multiple NASCAR teams.

I would thing tf and fc would pretty much fill that bucket team to team cost. Might not over flow the edges but be getting close to it. Then both are beyond the realm of my possibilities now days.

I would think he is doing a team deal maybe two car. Don't think he would even be considering it if didn't have strong sponsor potentials already in place.

There been many millionaires take a run at TF and/or FC and find out they where not wealthy enough to keep at it on there own. Most of the where when it was cheap and only a million or two a year.

Mike Salinas seems to be an exception to the rule. He keeps adding cars, teams and classes. Where's he at now, top fuel, pro stock motorcycle, top alcohol and he's dabbling in pro mod.
He and Capco are doing it on their own looks like.

Apropos of nothing, but Salinas just announced that they are shutting down the PSM teams for the rest of the season to concentrate on 2022.

And Surprise, surprise Tony Shumaker announced today he is returning next year.

She is taking her primary but there a whole lot of associates that will stay with Shoemaker.

I agree I think many of the associate sponsors will stay with Schumaker racing.
