"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I'm hoping to cash in big, my driving has been pretty good so far. Tomorrow is the Low Roller Gambler, along with the normal racing.

It wasn't enough weight, had to work 2 different suspension issues. Going right with wheelies & going to 60'+ wheelies. Think we have calmed down now & got our best 60' with a 1.301

I won no rounds of racing today. My son however has been in the money the past 2 days.

2doggs a DRR member, I'm pretty sure he made the semi's in the Low Roller gamblers race.

The day started out with a near vertical wheel stand & a secondary one that almost rivaled the 1st one.

1st round & buyback round losses. Tightened up the front suspension/travel, with a mild launch retard. The only retard is the monkey tuning this thing. I should fire myself!

No! You’ll get it! But I believe wheelie bars are in your future. You have big power and with that comes challenges . If it were easy…. HMMMM

Alright Bking that sounded like a pretty dang good weekend! Had a Vega Wagon years back and after doing up grade went straight up ! how fun is that, put some wheelie bars on it but adjusted them so I still launched about 18 inches off the ground. It was a good time having that car , E ticket for sure.

Shake head

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys!

I did finish today off with a loss in the semi's. My son & I couldn't get the job done this weekend. He at least came closer with a final round appearance. I ended up with 2 semi's round exits & a 1/4 round exit. I did get my entry fees back with some extra $.

We started leaning on the tune-up these past Thanksgiving race(s). I was fighting car going to the right. Then fighting with tripping the 60' beams with the
front & back tires. Then I thought we had the car calmed down on our last run Fri. Then Sat. morning, the run for the money time hit was when the car got stupid. I had no choice but to ease off the throttle before going on the back bumper. When it started come down I tried to ease into the throttle so it wouldn't slam down. I guess my timing was off because the slap wheelie was almost as ugly as the first.

Needless to say got it back to the pits & started inspecting everything. Very minor cosmetic damage & had to clean some rubber off the crossmember.

Then we tried to come up with a plan to calm this thing down; thanks to a couple of DRR members. I tighten the extension on the front shocks 4 clicks & ran the limiters all the way down. Plus, we put in a launch retard for 1.5 seconds. No wheelie after that but had some spin at the hit. It recovered quickly even though we are running radials & still managed a 1.38 60'.

Today's race, the car is still not transferring weight on the launch & the 60's were all over the place. I had some luck & some skills to make it to the semi's today, I'm grateful!

Now I need to get the car ready for the Hangover Nationals in Tucson! Eek

Great job to both of you!
It’s going to take some laps to get it right but it sounds like it’s going the right direction.
Good luck in Tucson.
