I've been considering putting in a 4-post for many years. I'm afraid if I do & I'll lose the ability to crawl under the car when needed. Most are amazed I still crawl under & I don't use a creeper. It sucks getting older, but we all have it in common.

I do not use a creeper at all. I had my floors done with Epoxy, it is rather expensive and slick when wet but easy to clean and slide around on floor to work under car. My 3 creepers are stored out of the way.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Just because your car maintenance becomes less physical with a lift doesn’t mean you’d loose your working on a piece of cardboard / floor skills that you could save for the track imho. I see racers at the track with stacker trailers using the lift for under car maintenance/ repairs as well and think it’s a wise choice.

The installation of the lift at work and home saved my body and yeah you have to set up arms for a two post. There are things I still do on the floor and cardboard as Mark says is a must. I slide them in the trailer under the car.
