Well I decided to add one of the House of Payne Ultimate Big Dog 10pitch starters to compliment the 139 tooth ATI flex plate. I am hoping it spins over like it's turning a 4 cylinder street engine. That's about how much power I make anyway. LOL

I can update my winter plan now. Knocked the dust off my racin suit and made passes earlier this month. Even won a round. New plan is to replace all polylocks on my stud girdle. Been chasing a tempermental lash issue since getting the engine running months ago. Same rocker each time. Just found the lock boogered up on the face contacting the rocker trunion. Assuming someone prior to me getting this car either ran it way loose and bounced it around or maybe overtightened it for a while??? Either way, the fix is coming soon. Put a couple turns of base pressure in clutch as well. Just got trailer back from replacing a ramp hinge. Everything appears on the way to being A-OK with my little racin operation for now, so planning to run again Feb 7, weather permitting. Hope y'alls winter plans are working out in your favor.
