Link to another messageboard Scroll down the thread I have linked to see photos of clean up underway. Considering the current trend of tracks closing, more than opening, this could be a real boost for folks in the immediate area. And the fact that they aren't starting off with bracket racing is OK too. The most important thing, for now, is just getting operations started again. Take care. I rode by it several years ago. Made me sad to see it shuttered, after reading about a lot of the history. I’m glad to see it getting revamped. If I wind up working nearby again, I’ll check it out. I hope they can get it going again. You have to put in the effort, to get anything out of it. | |||

As of early June the property is no longer owned by The Wilcoms per Ron Wilcom! Bill had been scheduled to be one of the special guests at the Nostalgia race this past Saturday at Mason Dixon but it was announced, with the heat and not up to it he didn't come out. Walt | |||

Any time a new track opens or an old one reopens is a good thing. We need all the tracks we can get and we need to bring young people into this.
