I am in. I didn’t notice runner up money but that’s good because I always seem to lose in finals up there when I do get to the finals.

Hands down the best paying race of 2019! Apparently lots of “today’s bracket racers” can’t read or break down a flyer for a race.

Kick A$$ paying race at one of the nicest all around facilities in America! On this weekend they use to have 3 10k's for $149 for all 3 days. Round money wasn't very good at all and usually were 400-700 cars on the grounds(single entries only)bc of the weekend price being so cheap! Everyone figured it was going to a slight revamp of payout structure but the Baders went up and above everyone's expectations and knocked it out of the park! Can't wait for this race to get here and actually be able to double enter at a Norwalk event in the same car.

That's the way all of the big money races should be paid. Since most people want to split. Why not spread it out for everyone and eliminate the problems in the later rounds.

First, let me say that I 100% agree with the sentiment here that it would be great if the purse was set up this way to start with. Wait. Let me say that again. I agree.

That said, I bet the same event would draw more participation if it were advertised as a $75K race that pays next to nothing from runner up on back, as opposed to one that pays $40K to the winner and a great purse from there on back.

And now for the THIRD time let me say, I agree with what ya'll are saying. Not that it matters, because I am not the kind of individual these events are meant to attract anyhow. I stick to staying under the porch. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

If you watch Professional Tennis, they pay the same way. Heck, if you qualify for a Major, the min you get paid is usually $75K to lose first round. If only I was better......

Seven rounds, first round loser $75K, winner usually $2m or more....... Just gotta get in and no, we can't buy our way in. Frown

So we Drag Race instead.

Well it seems that the majority of racers would rather split the purse. So why not spread it out from the beginning? I believe these races would still have sellouts even if the purse wasn't so top heavy.

Roughly 50 in each event. (The No-Box Bonanza is basically the same event, just everything in half.)

That's the way they should pay and did in the old days except not that far down but runner up was always 1/2 of winner purse. Then all these 10,000 --- 2000.00 races got started, they do seem to attract most everyone except me. That is an awesome race.

Probably just gives them a wide area of interpretation to make a call on a protest I guess.

I have never understood the reason for this from the track and NHRA rules>>>>>>>>>>

d) RPM switch adjustment must be out of driver's reach when racing.

Anybody???
