You ask for an opinion, I would not have responded if not. I am a former draftee and endured your kind for my country. You see I was forced to serve and I was forced to pay taxes all my life. We both are Right and the fact that you are solicitating recognition by lumping in your “service” with the brave men and women that have actually sacrificed for our country is not only disgusting but not surprising from “your kind” and proof positive that you are a worthless piece of shyt scum bag!

Wrong Again...

Pieces of shyt aren't allowed to stay in 20 years, little lone 26 years. Plus, they don't get hired on with a defense contractor after they retire neither, if they are a piece of shyt scumbag. So, you can regurgitate your delusional keyboard dribble all you want. You are still wrong.

Right Again! Sure they do, you’re proof having milked the system for decades. You’re a disgrace to the uniform and the brave men and women who have sacrificed, some have given the ultimate sacrifice for this country so s scum bag, a worthless lazy piece of shyt like your kind can pound their chest and claim they too sacrificed for this country when in reality all you did was milk the system and continue to do the same, living off of tax payers money!

So again Quoted for the truth...

Yes, I'm lumping myself into that 2+ million. As for the compensation, I haven't found any stats on that yet. I know from working with around 200+ military retirees. Most, if not all get some form of VA disability compensation. You can blast me all you want, regurgitate your Hate. It doesn't change a thing, you're still a Hater.

"By 2031, the number of military retirees in the United States is expected to reach 2.28 million; an increase from an estimated 2.19 million retirees in 2021. Military retirement pay Military retirement pay was created to acknowledge those who served their country through a military career."

When anyone signs up for the Military they are signing their life away and know they may not make it back. How much is that worth? And everyone I know who is retired military does not make all that much money and have gone to work elsewhere when they get out.

You want to complain about some retirements look at Politicians that make same for rest of their lives as they did in office with full benefits.

Look at some of the 50 million dollar Golden Parachutes some big companies are giving their CEO's.

We all made choices where to work and what we thought would be best for our future whether it was college, trade school military or what ever.

But we all made choices and it is sour grapes to complain about what someone else is getting because of decision you made. You think military pay is so great you should have joined. I do not think military retirement is all that great and they earned what ever it is by putting their life on the line. Thank you for your Service!

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Typical clueless statements from this forums ^^^biggest joke, biggest loser with a pos he delusionally calls a Camaro, a club racer where a full field in his no skills, old man class is 8 cars and a .100 reaction time is killing it. Laughing very hard

Meanwhile Canted Valve’s comments wasn’t about our military men and women, NO his comments were about this scum bag and worthless lazy piece of shyt who has been and continues to milk the system, with a bogus disability claim, living off of tax payers money.

ED, you are a special kind of stupid! Wink

"bogus disability claim" So, what does a service connected hearing disability have to do with driving a racecar.

Every service member has a very detailed entrance examination before being allowed into the service. My hearing was good & documented in my service records. During my career they required wearing PPE & annual hearing test. I don't remember exactly but somewhere around 7 years into my career in the Air Force, they started keeping a closer look at my hearing loss. Due to constant exposure to excessive noise, a common issue for a good majority in the Air Force. I was sent to specialist for my hearing & of course the Air Force documented it in my service records. This continued until the day I retired, but before retirement. The Air Force as all Branches of service ensures military members meet with a Veterans Administration Service Organization to go through the process of reviewing the member's service records. They determine what constitutes as service connected claim(s). Then the Veterans Administration after more examinations. Determine your level of disability/compensation. That's the basics of the process.

Now, for your clueless/classless white trash opinion; again Wrong

Getting plenty of liquids. Staying inside air conditioned motorhomes/trailers. Wearing cool vests, etc. Those approaches and others make it much more safe and tolerable. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Not everyone has a motor home or air conditioned trailer. I raced for 3 decades without either as many still do and we survive because we are serious racers, dedicated to doing this, whether chasing a track, division or world championship or chasing big checks. What we do is largely a summer activity which means sunny days, heat and humidity.
