And today Colorado starts issuing Drivers Licenses to illegal aliens. Legislation promoted and passed, of course, by our Democrat legislators (House & Senate) and governor. This is the first step to full legal status and then citizenship. Lucky us.

For the uniformed Clowns. Obama has deported immigrants at a faster rate than any other president in US history, nearly a record 2 million people.

Fixed it for you. You forgot to post the immigrants will not be able to collect Govt. benefits or allowed to vote. You only posted half the truth, like always. Colorado is among eight states that last year passed laws allowing identification documents for immigrants in the country illegally. The change is notable in Colorado because Democrats and Republicans in 2006 passed a package of laws cracking down on illegal immigration.

Oh, my mistake. Obama is doing a great job with the illegal alien invasion. Please accept my apologies.

Hey Pimp, can you name the other 8 states who already have the law on the books? Immigrants with temporary legal permits don't have to make appointments, only those in the country illegally. Those without legal status must show documents like a utility bill to prove they've lived in Colorado the previous two years, in addition to an identification number they've used to pay taxes. They must also show a passport or other identification from their home country. Those with a temporary legal status must present the documents that prove that, as well as evidence that they're Colorado residents. Driver's licenses will cost $50.50, higher than the $21 that legal residents pay. Identification cards will be $14, also higher than the $10.50 paid by everyone else. The new program will be supported by user fees. The documents must be renewed every three years, and the cards will be marked to say they can't be used for voting or to obtain federal benefits.

Wrong. The Colorado legislature, both houses, are dominated by Democrats. They have intentionally made Colorado a sanctuary state and these ILLEGAL immigrants collect gov't benefits in the form of free education, health care, etc., even preferential in-state tuition benefits not available to legal U.S. citizens from other states. Not allowed to vote? Once Obama gives them their "path to citizenship" they will vote.

This is the Bill how it is written. Any speculation otherwise, in how the Bill is written by any Clown is not worth the keystrokes to view. Authorizes the Department of Revenue to issue an identification document to an individual who is an undocumented immigrant in the United States if certain requirements including, but not limited to, the following are met (Sec. 4): The individual qualifies for the identification document; The individual provides a passport, a consular identification card, or a military identification document from the individual’s country of origin; The individual signs an affidavit confirming residency; and The individual presents proof of Colorado resident income tax return filing for the preceding year. Defines “identification document” as a either a driver’s license, minor driver’s license, instruction permit, or identification card issued by the Department of Revenue (Sec. 4). Authorizes the Department of Revenue to issue an identification document to an individual who is “temporarily present” in the United States if the following requirements are met (Sec. 4): The individual provides documents to the Department of Revenue to demonstrate lawful presence in the United States; and The individual’s status is confirmed by the federal government. Prohibits an individual from using an identification document for federal identification, voting, or public benefit purposes (Sec. 4). Requires the identification document issued under this bill to be “distinguishable” from other identification documents and expire 3 years after issuance (Sec. 4). Prohibits a peace officer from arresting an individual merely for possessing an identification document issued under this bill (Sec. 4). You don't want illegals to have DR's license then you accept them to fight for our Country in your place of course. n fact, the first American soldier to die in Iraq was Lance Corporal Jose Gutierrez, a U.S. Marine and native of Guatemala who was killed on 21 March 2003. At the time there were 3,000 non-citizens fighting in the ranks of the American military in Iraq. To the great credit of the U.S. Congress, Gutierrez became one of the first beneficiaries of an April 2003 bill awarding American citizenship to non-citizens killed in combat while serving with the U.S. military during the Global War on Terror. Then we have Pimp, our newest Clown on DRR, complaining about a drivers license. Illegals are allowed to fight for our Country, but we don't want him behind a wheel driving to work. 8 States have this already with Dems and Repubs voting. Pimp, can you name all 8 ??????? Do you really understand the Bill in what is written???

You have gone to a lot of trouble to replicate a bill that should have never been written or adopted in the first place. So now illegal behavior is codified and that makes it legal? And, frankly, I don't give a damn how many states have done the same thing- they shouldn't have. I also don't give a damn what immigrants- legal or otherwise want. The issue should be what does AMERICA want in the form of immigrants? Do we really need more Mexican cabbage pickers and roofers? Do we need more rag-head cab drivers and 7-11 owners? Is there a shortage of African airport workers or Indian hotel employees? Who did all this work before they showed up?

Illegal immigrants protest outside White House, Illegal immigrant demonstrators were protesting outside the White House on Monday – but don’t expect America’s immigration officers to intervene. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement official indicated that even if the protesters end up getting arrested by D.C. police, they’d have to be serious criminals for ICE to get involved. Unless the individuals meet ICE’s enforcement priorities, it’s unlikely that the agency would get involved in the case,” the official told FoxNews.com. Under a policy that’s been in effect for several years, ICE focuses deportation mostly on serious criminals and – in some cases -- those caught in the act of crossing the border. The agency prioritizes deportation for felons, repeat offenders, gang members and others with a serious criminal record. But the agency largely gives a pass to other undocumented residents. This is why illegal immigrant activists can protest outside the White House without worrying too much about ICE. They did so at lunchtime on Monday, marching across Lafayette Park to the White House and advocating a reprieve for illegal immigrant parents who brought their children to the U.S. – and whose children have benefited from a separate reprieve issued in 2012 by the Department of Homeland Security. with little fear of repercussions Augusta Warrior Project Gpa
