The California State Legislature is seriously considering repealing Proposition 13. That Law made it possible for us to afford a home in California because it stabilized the property tax at a reasonable rate, if it is repealed we will have no option but to leave California. This will effect everyone on a fixed income, practically none of us will be able to afford to live here. Property values will drop like a rock, your home will basically be worthless.
There is no end to the amount of taxes they can, and will charge everyone.....except illegal immigrants. California will become a "Third World Nation" after one single Legislative vote.
One more thing to mention. Their plan to repeal Prop 13 comes in two parts.
The first part is to trick you in to believing that Commercial Property is the sole focus of their effort to repeal Prop 13. However "Commercial Property" in their definition includes any property that produces income, such as rental property. Rental property would include your home if you have a tenant paying to stay there. That home would lose it's Prop 13 coverage, it's then declared "Commercial Property". This scheme includes all rental property, apartment buildings, etc.
Once that has happened the second phase is a small step, it will happen in the blink of your eye.
The second phase of their plan would repeal Prop 13 on all private property, that means your home. Your Property Taxes will go through the roof, in many cases the property tax could easily be more than you mortgage payment.
All this scheme was explained at a local "Town Meeting Event" by our State Legislator last night.

California Governor Gavin "Dimwit" Newsome recently passed a new Law preventing Police Agencies in California from using public surveillance cameras to identify wanted criminals. The new Law becomes effective January 1, 2020. According to activists who got the Law passed cameras violate criminals personal privacy..... poor little darlings.
Criminals in California have more rights than Law abiding Citizens and Police. His next moves will be to eliminate all Police Agencies in California, and allow Tax deductions to criminals who purchased a gun (necessary tools of the trade).

I think is awesome idea. Do it by Nov. 1, No voting for them and then no one state would control 20% of electorals needed to e president. he fact is 80% liberal is just side benefit.
America home of free. Brought to you by 2nd amendment.
