Even old cheney didn't squander using govt. transportation for his hunting.

Please give a link to data showing what the past repub presidents and cheney spent of the taxpayers money for vacations along with what the current piss poor president and current vice president has spent.

Still waiting Bob...................

Obama has spent all or part of 65 days on vacation during his presidency thus far, according to Mark Knoller, a CBS news reporter who scrupulously tallies presidential vacation time. Mr. Knoller's tally shows that President Bush had 120 full or partial vacation days by this point in his first term. But even Knoller acknowledges that “vacation” might be a misnomer when discussing presidential trips.

If you read up on the vacation time there is one huge difeence. GW went to HIS ranch in Texas and worked from there. He did not go to ball games, vlaentine dinners, Maine, Chicago, Montana, Wyoming, Florida, California, Nevada, Spain, or England. The ones that Obamer took are truely vacations where the gov paid for all of it. The ones that GW took, all 69 days of them, were to HIS ranch in Crawford Texas.

Granted, I know both of them worked while they were there but tell me you don't think there is a difference between going to your second home or going to a place where you have no home. There is truely a difference.

Example, you take a week off of work and spend it at home or take a week off and go to Yosemite. Are they different?

Yes, because I don't have my own plane, my own secret service, my own personnel........... no matter where they go, the cost of the actual vacation itself pales in comparison to the rest of the cost.

Why don't we compare Laura Bush and high maintence Michelle's vacations while we are at it? Anyone have any cost comparisions for vacation time?

My guess is that HM Michelle's vacation to Spain was more than all of Bush's trips to his ranch!

Let's see............ 77 visits to his ranch divided by $146,000 trip to Spain. So on average it cost the tax payers $1900 per trip for Bush. That might be enough jet fuel to get him off the ground. Blackie, are you delusional?

What about Laura's yearly rendezvous for 30-50 of her female friends paid for by our tax dollars?

As I stated, the leftists are reduced to clinging to "0-bomb's" testicles and doing all they can to justify the horrendous activities going on!
$175,000.00 per day JUST for lodging in Spain!
A slight difference also, President Bush wasn't beating on the population to live like peasants while the hierarchy is living like slovenly royalty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And he proved it by spending almost 1,000 days in 8 years between Camp David and his ranch.

Taking vacations was a specialty that runs in the bush family.

Maybe if he spent time in office, he would have known Iraq was NO threat to the USA.

How many days off have you had in the last 8 yrs jerry?

Do the math and see what 8 yrs of weekends you didn't work plus the week a year you got for vacation.

Pretty damn close to that almost 1000 days off in 8 years your mangina is crying about huh?

Unless you think the President of the United States of America only works 8-5 Mon-Fri.

Why don't you quit before you have no dignity left?

Show me some facts JJ!! Laura did not go to Spain to meet her female friends and did not use 60 rooms at $2500 per night either!!!

Maybe a better question, is Michelle Obama's trip to Spain improper considering the poor state of the U.S. economy?

Hey idiot, I defended the President of the United States taking time off from the job. Or at least as much as he possibly could get away. I suspect he's got advisers following him into the shower.

The only time I've EVER said something about Obomber taking a vacation is when he DIDN'T take one in the Gulf last month. I said I didn't begrudge the man taking time off just thought he should have supported the area when they REALLY needed it.

jerry, like I said, stop before you complete the task of embarrassing yourself beyond repair. You're close, but you still have a very small shred of dignity left. Don't loose it too.
