I'm a Dish network subscriber and yesterday it looks like Faux news took out an ad on another channel cause Dish dropped Faux channels because of Faux squeezing the networks of raising rates. Clowns on here once again don't know shiott. The Clowns opined Faux dropped Dish. Anyways during this paid advertisement out pops Bill O'really whining how Dish dropped Faux and was begging Dish subscribers to contact Dish and beg for getting them back on the network. It appears once again the Clowns in these topics are just plain ignorant when they opine from their pieholes on providing any substance of knowledge. It was hilarious watching O"really begging for Dish subscribers to come back.

Fox News Viewers And Conservatives Were Asked A Question A study which asked respondents one simple question underscores just how far from reality Fox News viewers and Republican voters have been dragged by their conservative leaders. We are weeks away from the 12th anniversary of the felonious invasion of Iraq by the United States-led coalition. The pretext given was that the government of Saddam Hussein harbored weapons of mass destruction, deployable within 45 minutes, and the intent to use them. The Facts: ◾No such weapons were ever found. ◾It has been established beyond doubt that political leaders on both sides of the Atlantic ‘sexed up’ the weak intelligence on Saddam’s weapons capability in order to sway a skeptical public to support the invasion. Yet, a majority of Fox News viewers and Republican voters believe that the U.S. found WMDs in Iraq. A Farleigh ****inson University poll released last week revealed the following: ◾51% of Republicans believe that it’s “probably” or “definitely” true that the U.S. uncovered an active WMD program following its March 2003 invasion. ◾52% of Fox News viewers held that incorrect belief. ◾The figures among Democrats and MSNBC viewers was 32% amd 14% respectively. ◾A whopping 42% of respondents overall believe the U.S. found WMDs in Iraq. How is American opinion so far from such easily verifiable fact? Answer: constant, incessant misrepresentation of the facts (good old fashioned lying). This case in 2006 is a perfect example of the collaboration between conservative politicians and Fox News to mislead the public over this matter. During nearly every Fox News program from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on June 21, Fox News hosts and guests touted the disclosure, announced by Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) and Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), of the existence of hundreds of chemical munitions in Iraq, which Santorum and Hoekstra claimed proved the existence of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), the key argument in the Bush administration’s case for invading Iraq. Santorum and Hoekstra made the claim at a press conference that Fox News covered live that evening, and throughout the evening, Fox News hosts highlighted these claims as “vindicat[ing]” — in the words of Fox host Sean Hannity — the Bush administration’s prewar WMD claims. What this incessant coverage left out was that almost immediately following the press conference, intelligence officials confirmed that the pre-1991 shells were not the WMDs that the Bush administration cited in its argument for war. In fact, the Iraq Survey Group’s September 2004 final report had already noted that “a small number of old, abandoned chemical munitions” were discovered after the invasion. Nevertheless, this has been the modus operandi of the conservative/Fox alliance of ignorance ever since. The poll comes just three months after this story in the New York Times which revealed that U.S. and Iraqi troops had suffered injuries after exposure to active chemical agents when they stumbled upon the vestiges of Hussein’s long-dormant chemical weapons program. Conservatives once again leapt on this as proof of WMDs, but it has already been established beyond doubt that Hussein’s chemical weapons program had been long since abandoned by the time of the invasion. While those of us on the liberal side of the fence might wave our hands and sigh “Well EVERYBODY knows Fox News lies,” clearly this is not the case. Fox News viewers and conservative voters are believing what they see and hear, and are ending up misinformed as a result – and not just on Iraq. The Farleigh ****inson poll also found 34% of Republicans are still convinced of the Obama ‘birther’ conspiracy theory; that is one-third of Republicans believe President Barack Obama is an alien usurper born outside the US. And what about Climate Science? In 2013, the Union of Concerned Scientists published the findings of their study into the accuracy of climate science stories across three major cable media networks. Fox News was found to be the most unreliable – with a staggering 72% of its stories classed as misleading. Fox and Conservatives in particular want to treat every matter like it’s open to opinion, when it simply is not. We are all welcome to our own opinions, but there are also black and white issues of fact and fiction where opinion is irrelevant. The WMD exists or it does not, a majority scientific consensus exists on man-made climate chance, or it does not. These are verifiable as fact or fiction. It is frankly embarrassing that this many Americans are falling prey to patent untruths. All too often we forget that although we live in the information age, it is entirely possible to set our own filters on that information. If the filter is set to stupid; that’s what we up with.

How's Dave different??? I never take something you say at face value, for one. Second, If it is news, it's news. If it is an opionion piece I take it as just that. Opinion.. If it is supposed to be a statement of fact.. I check it. The crap you post isn't fact or opinion.. It's propaganda... I do know that. Dave DC: Mike I wish you would quit quoting boob... Bob, where do you get your 'facts'? Relying on a poll from an eastern liberal university is an OPINION, not fact. Every news media outlet manipulates the facts to suit their own political or social bent. The polls you rely on very unreliable. Having been involved in a very high profile murder case 14 years ago I learned a lot of very valuable lessons (I was NOT the perp). The press could not get their facts correct in the majority of instances. Other than spelling the names correctly the conjecture of the the reporters was rampant. Most all of the reporting of fact was BS. I don't believe a thing the press puts out anymore. It's all opinion and editorial.
