As I sit back and see those that complain and seek media attention, I just want every American citizen to lok at thier tax rate now put upon them. Just as we adjust our Budgets (based upon our assets), I would like for our GOVERNMENT to do the same. Looking at the 36 trillion in debt we have, do we have the collateral to cover that debt? My children and their heirs deserve better.
What's wrong with reviewing your finances and making adjustments. I agree, their is some good by networking with other countries and helping them to support a democracy. But the one about supplying cpndpms made me laugh. Does this mean we want that country to downsize? If so, we could use that money here.
Now to my point, I agree with having our expenses reviewed, however, our Congress should make decisions on the budgeted items. Is that not their job, althpogh when was the last time they did this is a timely manner before the end of a fiscal year. And this gives voters a chance to audit their representation, in order to select one that puts their interest first.
Call it whatever you choose, but for me and my family, we appreciate DOGE or whatever you call it.

A rhetorical question I assume. The government has no money, they can only tax the citizen. Therefore the printing press (computer keys really) debt is simply a deferred tax put on the individual tax payers assigned "govt. credit card". The current amount per tax payer is $323,047, and there is the answer to your question.

Trump and Musk are "draining the swamp" so it's no surprise that the snakes and gators are complaining.

NOT unhappy with the results.

Any 6th grader can tell you owing the world 36 trillion (AND growing) is not sustainable...My hope is the couple business guys on top right now can stop, or at least, significantly slow the bleeding. Tariffs are a start. At the very least it should stop the laughing at us from the other countries

Out of curiosity, look up China's national debt, as of the end of 2024 it shows 16.5 billion and Russia at 285 billion. Pretty sure per population, this is a WHOLE lot less than our individual per taxpayer debt. Besides, their debt was in the billions not trillions. Doge so far would have wiped out that debt. Thank your neighbor who you see getting up late, laying around all day and eating steak for some of this, also, the condom purchase debt in our country may have been a good investment. ha Ha

Since January 20th the Trump Administration along with the DOGE have reduced the Federal Government's spending at a rate of 4 billion dollars per day, and that savings number is increasing every day.

Programs that were "Out of Country" (One example in Burma) funded in the billions were cancelled . Credit cards and monthly payments issued to deceased individuals cancelled. Payments to closed Government properties/facilities abandoned and empty for decades cancelled. Social Security checks issued to individuals who died decades ago, cancelled .

The list goes on and on, and on.

Who benefits? The American Tax Payer struggling to pay the rent and buy food, and as well your descendants.

Bob, I agree with what is taking place. For those like me who are retired, while planning for 45 years to retire, the last 4 (since COVID-19) have been troubling. While I agreed with Trump's tax cuts, I was disappointed they did not get a chance to effect the National Debt. With this use of his" buyback", I like others are beginning to see daylight. Just hoping he hits his dial-in.

Just a thought about the money DOGE uncovered:

Take some of the billions of dollars that was wasted by the last Administration and invest it in Trade Schools.

Give people a real opportunity to earn a respectable living, not prop them up with the false idea that a "Sheep Skin" is the only path to financial independence. College is fine for a small minority of High School Graduates but a Trade School is a better fit for the majority.

The truth is that most College funds benefit the Colleges and their Administrators, not the students or their parents. The original intent was to elevate High School Graduates, in most cases all they do is to drain their Bank Accounts.

Someone is getting rich, and it's not the majority of the Students.

Every year thousands of kids travel to Hollywood and Nashville looking for fame and fortune, their chances aren't much better than a College Graduate.

Someone is getting rich, and it's not the kids.

Invest in Trade Schools!

You are so correct on TRADES education.I served on a school board for 15 years and one of the first dicsussions I had with a high school counselor was why did she feel everyone should go to college. Very rural school. I asked her if her car broke down, who she would want to repair it. The kid with mechanical appitude or the kid that dropped out of college and just settled for being a mechanic. (A field that has changed with the automobile as far as needing an education to diagnose a problem.)
Now to what our country is seeing today, many of us have children that can't change a light switch or fix a leaky faucet.Either we old folks have to do the repairs or call a repairman that may be booked up for two to three weeks out.
But then again, the swapout is us having to have them set our phone or reboot our computers in exchange for an oil change. Ha Ha

New Democratic Strategy: "No Sale Day" this Friday!

So their plan to encourage Voter support for the next Election IS don't buy ANYTHING this Friday. Not even food (don't eat), or gas (walk everywhere)...... nothing, just do more to wreck an already poor economy! If that doesn't work their next plan is to commit suicide.

That'll certainly convince Trump Supporters that they are serious!

Here is a better suggestion.

Dump AOC, dump Bernie (I know he claims to be an Independent), Dump Hakeen, Dump Pelosi, dump the morons running the Democratic Party and find a new Leadership of SMART, PATRIOTIC PEOPLE who actually love this Country.

The "Hate Trump" marching band has gone off the cliff, for God's sake don't join them. The old Democratic Party had members with vision and Patriotism, the current Leadership is loaded with total morons, plus a few outright Traitors.

Even with DOGE cuts, the February deficit was HIGHER than last year.

While everyone was looking at the shiny trinket in one hand, Congress pushed through a CR of the Biden budget with barely a hint of any tinkering around the edges. No codification of DOGE cuts. USAID funding reauthorized. 26 Republicans voted against Sen. Paul's amendment that would've allowed us to reduce USAID spending. The bill will push the FY2025 deficit to over $2 Trillion.

Passing the CR triggers the Massie provision of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023, which mandates a 1% spending cut. Speaker Johnson somehow and for some reason prevented even that small cut from taking effect.

We've been sold a bill of goods.

Well when every cut no matter how stupid the spending was/is has been challanged. It is little difficult to count it out of budget.n Nothing in goverment happen immediately. Well unless democrat does it since republicans well getting lot better do not fight back near hard enough.

My issue is ok we found the fraud and waste both parties have talked about for decades, Now we need names, Who the hell said ok lets send Talaban money every week,ok'd transgender rat study crap ands the rest of 3 mile long list. The new magic money machine that just send out money non stop. Who is catching the money?

Yes I want the crap stopped, but not near dumb enough to think it all will. I want the heads of those who approved of it **** like teaching a muslim country about transgender perverterd crap. No silver platter needed just off with the heads.

The people on Musk's DOGE Forensic Accounting Team are not a bunch of amateur 20 year old kids, they are seasoned experts. The notion that Musk is the Lone Ranger randomly eliminating jobs for "Sport" is all crap perpetrated by the DNC and their moronic Media stooges. Just look at the professional credentials/Titles and work experiences of the DOGE Members, you could not select a more seasoned Team of experts.

The fools that squandered billions of Tax Payer dollars have every right to be scared, many of them are about to lose everything and go to prison.
