Saw them wasting good air time covering this issue. With pole smoker extraordinaire Anderson Cooper presiding (no conflict of interest there right). When you're colored and can't claim affrimative action for being a minority you have to find another minority crutch. Enter la queer. The world is a place of change but the negitive momentum in todays American society is so askew there is no going back to what made America great. New world order, cultural diversity, socialism, mediocrity IS our future. Move over Europe. Anyone that believes "there is still time" is kidding themselves.

Hagel: US rethinking resistance to arming Syrian opposition
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Thursday that the Obama administration is re-thinking its opposition to arming the Syrian rebels, as officials weigh a range of options in the wake of findings that chemical weapons were likely used in the country's civil war.

"Arming the rebels -- that's an option," Hagel said at a Pentagon news conference.

Asked directly if the administration was reconsidering its opposition to that option,

Hagel said "yes."

As U.S. rethinks arming rebels, Syria says chemical weapons also a 'red line'

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel's admission -- after weeks of the United States resisting arming the opposition, for fear the weapons could end up in the wrong hands -- comes days after a White House aide sent a letter to two U.S. senators saying the intelligence community assessed "with varying degrees of confidence" that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's government had used the chemical agent sarin on a "small scale."
United States, France and Turkey have a one-sided way of looking at this

As the White House mulls whether Syria has crossed President Obama’s red line and used chemical weapons, the U.S. military and intelligence community are quietly acknowledging that the United States does not know where many of those weapons are located.
Where Are Syria’s Chemical Weapons?

U.S. President Barack Obama said Friday that he did not foresee a scenario of "American boots on the ground in Syria" that would be good for that country or the region. Obama said other leaders in the region want to see President Bashar al-Assad out of power.

Syria: Attack on military facility was a 'declaration of war' by Israel

Damascus, Syria (CNN) -- A series of massive explosions illuminated the dark sky over Damascus early Sunday, igniting renewed claims that Israel has launched attacks into the war-torn country.

A top Syrian official told CNN in an exclusive interview that the attack was a "declaration of war" by Israel. Syria's government said the target was a military research facility outside Damascus.

Syrian authorities vowed to retaliate against Israel but did not specify what action they would take.

Philadelphia DA calls abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell a 'monster' after he's sentenced to life in prison without parole
A Philadelphia abortion doctor was sentenced Wednesday to a third life term for killing an aborted baby that he described as so big it could "walk to the bus."

Dr. Kermit Gosnell was convicted this week of first-degree murder in the deaths of three babies born alive, then stabbed with scissors. He was given two life sentences Tuesday in a deal with prosecutors that spared him a potential death sentence, and the third sentence was handed down Wednesday.

Is our society becoming dumber? you be the judge...... http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/si...-last-180634194.html

A few things that come to mind that might just valadate that thought: The Kardashians, Honey Boo Boo, Hogan knows best,et al. OJ Simpson, Patrick Ewing, et al graduate from college. Just as the mexicans have taken over our country so have they been joined by the "low information voters". Our society not only protects but enables those that fail. Todays politicians. The average teenager sends 3,300 text messages per month. OK, your turn.

Job Growth To Get Even More Depressing In The Future:

We are at a place where 175,000 new jobs per month is widely considered "good" job growth. According to a new Fed study, it won't be very long before merely adding 35,000 jobs per month is good enough.

In other words, enjoy this lousy labor market, because this might be just about as good as it gets in terms of job growth.

Supreme Court invalidates Arizona voter registration law

The Supreme Court on Monday struck down an Arizona law that required people registering to vote in federal elections to show proof of citizenship, a victory for activists who say it discouraged Native Americans and Latinos from voting.

The ruling will affect three other states

The National Security Agency has spent years demanding that companies turn over their data. Now, the spy agency finds the shoe is on the other foot. A defendant in a Florida murder trial says telephone records collected by the NSA as part of its surveillance programs hold evidence that would help prove his innocence, and his lawyer has demanded that prosecutors produce those records. On Wednesday, the federal government filed a motion saying it would refuse, citing national security. But experts say the novel legal argument could encourage other lawyers to fight for access to the newly disclosed NSA surveillance database.
