DRR Trophy![]() |
I know this is a old post, and a lot has changed in the last few years. I found it very interesting, and now (end of the racing season at least in Michigan) would be a good time to resurrect the topic. I have a been concentrating the last few seasons on quick races since I put a TBS 250 on my dragster. For the most part the quick races have shown promise at the tracks in West Michigan. But has room of improvement if they want to continue. Area's that I think need to be worked on, in part, or in whole are: 1) The track operators buy in and commitment to make quick racing a regulator event. 2) Why these quick races have trouble attracting fast door cars. And a way to be more attractive to these door cars. 3) How to attract financial support 4) What effect the emergent of IHRA will have on local quick racing. To keep these topics as succinct and on point I'll be addressing each line item one by one in the near future. Looking forward to any and all feed back. | |||
