"The Bender"Yes. The quickest 16 make up the "A" or elite field. Depending on how many cars there are there is a second group of 16 or 32 cars. They are completely separate fields, but all cars make qualifying runs together.

Sunday morning was the time for a "hero" run.

Big SteveTop dragster bump today at the D4 Race is 6.38 after 2 hits and that's all they get. I believe that's the 2nd quickest field TD field in NHRA history. The 2nd race on Saturday should have much better conditions so it could be quicker
