breaking down beadlocks doesnt take that long

Yea but it would also be nice to have a spare set with tires ready to go if I have an issue and need to swap between rounds. Need to get a new golf cart first

i ran the 3195 running alot of 1/4 mile in the 6.40-6.50 range with no issues.
when they wore out i went to the 3196 because i heard they where built for more stability at the top end.
the first set i got [3196] in two passes the right tire blistered but the left one did not.i contacted mt and they handled right away as a warranty.i had to run the blistered mt another race and they didnt get worse.
the replacement set has performed perfectly at 6.32-6.35 220.
i have no clue on the cause and if it was my setup the second set would have blistered as well

I like the 3195s much better than 3196s. I actually hate the 96 especially on a borderline track. The 95s are much more elastic/grip than the 96s. If you are looking for a wheel speed tire similar to the Hoosiers the 3196 is your choice. 4.30 4.40 also have never blistered a set.

I have backed to back them and saw no performance difference on my Procharged deal.

I did blister one tire of a pair of 95's in 2016 no blistering on 96's. It's hard to compare any of these tires because the manufacturers are updating the recipe for making them (see Scott's BR3 post).

greg do you run mostly 1/4 or 1/8.i still have in my head that the 1/4 is where the damage occurs

I'm 50/50 Rusty. Probably more of the runs setup to go fast are 1/4 for NHRA TD. I only went to one PDRA race.

. I've run both and I Like the 96 better. But they both work well. MT told me the 96 was produced to address the blistering issue. MT's don't like a big burn out. Ideally tire temp should be within 10 degrees plus or minus of track temp. If you like the 95 the 96 should edge it out.
