What cfm carbs have you ran on the 250 blower - see any difference one carb or two. Brand also Thanks

Most of the ones I see running the 250 blower are running a single dominator on alky. Usually about a 1600 cfm deal. Two carbs will generally always out perform a single, but there are factors involved with that.....

Thanks Mark - I run a 1450 currently. I was curious what others were using and if they tried one and changed and if it produced cost effective results. Maybe someone had a 1450 and changed to a 1600 what were the results. Bored I home alone this Christmas and thinking of preparing for the wet bandits HaHa

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Have ran apd 1250, an apd 1450 and Get M biggest alky. Differences between each. Will go faster with 2 carbs without a doubt. Even faster with injection. In most cases the single carb can't supply enough fuel in really good air. Been 4.23 165 with one carb, 33 top pulley, 64 bottom pulley, steel block, 598 BB3 headed Wilson engine.

On the fuel injection I guess it’s all going in above the blower? Chris any difference in carbs. 1450 to 1600

Yeah, the nozzles will go into a plate right below the throttle body...You can run them in the ports, but you'll need some above the blower too to cool it and keep from running it dry. That small of a blower though not needed....above it is good enough.

Difference between carbs will depend on engine....likely the 1450 will be enough

Bigger made more power on dyno, didn't always reflect on racetrack...bigger would be better in ideal conditions IMO.

I have two Rupert 1150's with a dual top for the 250 if you are looking, will make a great deal on the two carbs and the top for the blower.

I was going to run them on my blower but though it best to stay Naturally asperated and not try to run 4.70's bracket racing in a door car in the Texas heat.
