Looking for something I can use in my trailer (I may get one for the coach also).
I checked with Verizon but it has to many bells and whistles.
Looking for something simple.

What are folks using?

Actually Frank, (Sorry) I was referring to a M18 A1 Claymore using the either C-3, C-4 or PETN. The downside can be the back blast (and the bothersome noise). However it is a one time very effective device for dealing with thieves. Anything within 300 feet will be burned and shredded toast.

I have set off my security alarm that is hooked to my trailer more than a few times so the Claymore would be a bad thing for me. Shake head

First start with a real lock that will make them work for it. Make sure you also lock up the chains.

I also disable my truck whenever it is parked with the trailer hooked up.

Make sure your water pump is on whenever you check your coolant level.

If you have an Apple IPhone you can use Air Tags.

That is what we use but you need to take the microphone out of them.

This guy gives you good instructions on how to do it...

I have the recovr GPS tracker. $100/year for the service and it tracks where ever it goes. Its held on with a 200+lb magnet. If some god forsaken reason my stuff gets stolen, and they can't locate it. they stroke you a check.

Also, on a side note, anyone have any experience with in trailer cameras for going down the road?

Tommy Johnson Sr (RIP) had a great system that was very reasonably priced. Can't recall the name of it, and I don't know if anyone carried that business on after he passed a few years back. I'll see if I can find the info. It was designed specifically for what we do.

Old tech but I have one that wires into TV which I run off converter. I can watch everything inside. It does require a wire from camera to tv. SUre that since I bought it 20 years ago there is lot better now.Hell it works.
