Just a thought about some of crap that happened last weekend.

First yea looking for safety for stupity that I had happen last weekend and nobody to blame but me.

Delay box already has a trans brake loc out that you program a time for. Seems it would be easy enough to have trans bake engagement limit timer. It eliminates the possibility of accidentally hitting the button and engaging transbrake and burning up the solenoid. No problem with std. operation, but if running z force setup it could happen take my word for it.

Seeing you have a hi/lo brake you should have a safety above and beyond a timed lockout. I'd suggest two buttons in series or if you have a bump/prostage button wired up id use the prostage 12v output to power your TB button.

Looking at power output option. Not sure what hi/lo would have to do with limiting the time trans brake solenoid can be energized. Guess something I am missing there. I see it would not loc out transmission but do not see how it affects solenoid.

The options I gave you will effectively do what you need (stop your accidentally activation and burning out the solenoid) and stop you from killing yourself at the same time. No one in there right mind would want anything controlling the TB output between the box and solenoid if that's what your looking to do.

OK. Wondering how it would kill me. I understand your option on wiring thru another switch to power. Sorry, I see no way that having a limit on how long it energizes trans brake solenoid could do anything. Not talking 45 second time limit, but them why would you be on brake that long on the line?

Sorry idea is so offensive. Heck, everything else in the car is on automatic nowadays and most controlled thru the box. Leave,SLE, and shift.

Not really arguing the danger part.Asking where it is.
