Anyone run nin g Lucas oil in their race car? Was looking for Brad Penn and could get it thru Amazon(which I will not buy anything from) and one or two other places. All had to be shipped in.

Lucas oil I can get off shelf or warehouse here in town. Everything I have used from Lucas oild has been good.Plus Lucas does put good amount of money back into racing including sportsman stuff. That always adds few points to score IMO.

There are a lot of good racers who run Lucas oil. Most of the ones I know are running gas. Not sure how well it works with alcohol.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I used to run their 10-30 synthetic with methanol and had good success with it. No problem at all.

Edit to add I used the race only oil.

I’ve ran Lucas 10-30 syn for 8 years and have great luck with it in my stock eliminator sbc. On occasion I’ll use 0-10 when I need to put the car on kill.

My engine builder has asked what oil I use and on multiple occasions commented on how good the bearings looked inside. I would recommend any of the Lucas oils.
