I would look seriously at something else, good luck on whatever you decide!

Dirt dobber had other issues, I put a 153 billet SpeedMaster flywheel on the 496 in the third gen Camaro. He drives it everyday, probably has 1500 street miles on it now.

9540 PowerMaster starter, sounds and works flawless.

Works so good I bought one for the next BBC in line, ahead of time.

Speedmaster is an American company not Chinese.

Retard Ed won't be able to name one chinese company making hot rod parts.

American companies can still sell Chinese made products under American names. I was under the impression the Speedmaster was an Aussie company that only sold Chinese copies of American designed products.

The problem of legacy American speed industry firms being bought by equity firms and other holding companies will continue to result in cheaply made offshore parts. My recent lesson is a case in point. I bought what had been historically an American made part only to discover it was made in Mexico. Who is at fault here? Is it me for failing to research the product, TCI for knowingly selling me a Mexican made part as American, or Pioneer for offshoring the part and not telling anyone downstream?

I'm not selling anything, I'm reporting what I've experienced with said part, retard.

Speedmaster is an American company owned by Americans, not chinese.

Take it up with your selected officials, if you don't like it Speedmaster hire chinese to manufacture their products.

Show another source you can buy an engine (454 + .060) of this caliber for 10k turn key, including 700 plus hp dyno sheet.

Pump gas.

It had more, it was on its way to 710-715 hp.

We planned on a standard volume high pressure Melling Billet pump and Dan Olson 10 quart pan after it survived its thrashing on the dyno.

It had a $57 dollar 4.5 quart pan, Moroso high volume pump on the dyno.

It had more to 7200-7400 rpm, possibly 720 hp.

The MLB player who bought it was only concerned with its power around 6000 rpm's.

We saw it could achieve 700 hp, so we ran it to that point.

It's going in an air boat, they only rev it 6000 rpm.

Buying Chinese is a problem if you do it and you're not truly an American but it I do it it's fine. Nothing to see here. Right? LOL

Take it up with your anointed, self appointed officials.

It is they who wrote the laws which allow American companies to hire foreigners without penalty.

Borders and sovereignty are a thing of the past.

Have a look at our southern border as evidence, or the fact Americans inadvertently, unknowingly funded the rise of china.

I understand you haven't the capacity to know anything other than what the TV tells you to believe, but now that I've pointed out the reality of the matter, you don't still believe this is all just by happenstance do ya? Confused

I bought an ATI superplate for the new motor. Over kill for what I need, at least ATI thinks so, but it's a nice piece.

12 years on a Meziere Billet 168 BBC. Don't go to NHRA LODRS or Nationals anymore. Just racing for $5000-$7000-$11,000-$50,000-$100,000.00 so we are pretty busy without waiting for three days to race for $1500 and a small Wally.

I appreciate the effort and costs involved to race NHRA, I did it for a decade or more. Just too frustrating to have a great weekend and only NHRA makes money on very high entry fees.

I can see it not making for a great weekend if you don’t win but We have a great weekend competing and winning both and all my equipment has a valid SFI decal. We competed for 10k, 20k, 50k and 100k this season AND we competed in NHRA LODRS which was never about the money and always about the Wally and winning a divisional championship. We got the Wally and runner upped for the championship. That makes 1 LODRS championship, 2 runner ups, 1 Jegs Allstar and finishing #4 in the world over the past 5 seasons and numerous big $ bracket wins, all totaling in excess of $125k and when the SFI decals on my two Meziere 139 tooth flex plates expire, I’ll buy two new ones to replace them.

Good for you!! Awesome string of wins. My old, worn out stuff starts fine on a 12-year old flexplate, that is my only concern. What NHRA and SFI feel about a billet steel flexplate "wearing out", safety-wise, does not concern me.
