It's possible that the training and the response are both real. Wouldn't be the first time a plant put together its own training. Screwed the pooch on it, and had corporate correct them and make sure everyone was on the same page. The letters words are very carefully chosen and frankly quite vague. Designed to make a statement and say nothing that could possibly offend anyone. Damage control. I completely believe it wasn't a corporate policy. Doesn't even look like corporate designed.
