I've had good luck with comp cams mutha thumper hydraulic roller.
Part # 8-601-8 . It's a stepped nose to be used the factory retainer plate , its 235,249 at .050 .522 , .509 lift. 107 lobe separation.
My car has 062 vortec heads, guides machined down for retainer clearance and spring seats cut for a factory ZZ4 valve spring. Edelbrock 2116 intake, quickfuel 750.
I used a Hughes 4000 10inch converter and 4.10 gears in a 02 camaro. It runs 7.50s and 60s depending on the weather.
