Looking to make a footbrake car to play around with. Have a 97 350 roller cam motor. Was looking for some help with cam recommendations. Aluminum heads or vortec heads, dual plane intake, 1 5/8 headers, th400 28-3200? Converter, gm 8.5 with 4.10. car is a 76 Grand Prix | ||

I've had good luck with comp cams mutha thumper hydraulic roller. Part # 8-601-8 . It's a stepped nose to be used the factory retainer plate , its 235,249 at .050 .522 , .509 lift. 107 lobe separation. My car has 062 vortec heads, guides machined down for retainer clearance and spring seats cut for a factory ZZ4 valve spring. Edelbrock 2116 intake, quickfuel 750. I used a Hughes 4000 10inch converter and 4.10 gears in a 02 camaro. It runs 7.50s and 60s depending on the weather. | |||
