Which race fuel
Which racing gas would you recommend: 632 cubic inch, head hunter 395 mc, 15.5:1 compression, 1150 horsepower. Car runs 4.50s to 4.60s in a 1900 pound dragster

and you know this how?

Further, I don't buy my fuel in a pail, it's pumped from a tank or a 55 gallon drum into my 5 gallon fuel jugs and the time slip says consistency of the fuel is a non issue.

Lastly and more important is what fuel do they sell at the tracks you race. That is the determining factor as to what fuel to run for most bracket racers. Here in the northeast, Sunoco is the fuel sold at most every track.

I'm going to reiterate what I've already stated...

I buy my Sunoco fuel pumped from a large tank or 55 gallon drum and haven't had 1 fuel issue in the 25 years I've been running Sunoco race fuels, Purple, Blue and Red purchased from numerous tracks in the north east, mid atlantic region and southeast.

Sunoco Blue. Good enough for my SR20 632 even when I’m on 1 system of nitrous.

I also get my fuel 55 gallons at a time.

I would purchase 55 gallons at the time, so not worried as much about "batching"

Over 15:1

Makes enough power to push my 2500 camaro to 486 @ 141 on HP and 460 @ 150 with 3.5 seconds of a 32 nitrous jet.

X-16 is better then maximal. How do I know. Because I have tested both. A new fuel will come out at PRI. X-14 will come out there. It is Late model plus. Which has more lead which is better in bad air
